“Nostalgia” is a medley of shapes dancing through both darkness and the light. When creating this piece, I was struck by how worn and earthy the piece felt to me. These colors are the type I associate with lost memories, old friendships, and intricate, untold stories. “Nostalgia” is a recollection of stories that remain untold until they are ready to be brought to light, at their own pace and in their own time. This piece is a yellowed map of deliberate choices, unchangeable circumstances, and seemingly mundane actions that have lead us to where we are today.
